As a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists, my approach is all about real conversations in a space where you can just…be.

We’ll dig into what’s really going on beneath the surface and work through it with empathy, honesty, and a bit of humour. Life isn’t always neat and tidy, and therapy doesn’t have to be either.

With a background in trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness, I help clients navigate anxiety, life transitions, and personal growth.

My therapy journey is deeply personal. I’ve always known that supporting others is my life’s purpose. The path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own experiences and struggles, making me acutely aware of the challenges my clients face. I believe in the power of human connection and am constantly reminded of our shared experiences and commonalities. When I say you are not alone, I mean it wholeheartedly.

The name “Tizzy” is a reflection of my commitment to authenticity and genuine care. It’s a departure from conventional therapy names, capturing a sense of real, unfiltered support. I chose “Tizzy” because it resonates with my personal experience of managing anxiety and finding self-compassion. When feeling overwhelmed, I’ve learned to approach these moments with kindness and acceptance.

The name embodies the playful and approachable spirit of our work together, making the therapeutic process feel less clinical and more human.
